^Says the problem pretty well. Premiere probably doesn't support MKV.

 

In OBS, Press File > Remux Recordings. First choose the recordings you want to remux and then press the remux button.

Shouldn't take (much) more than a couple seconds per recording

 

Now try to import these MP4's in Premiere.

In Settings > Output > Recording you can choose the 'recording format'.

You can choose MP4 there, which does give a warning:

So you can choose MP4 recording, keeping in mind that warning, or you can keep using MKV and remuxing the recording (by dragging & dropping multiple files in the remux window you can remux multiple recordings at once).
