Case fans are so loud - Fractal Define S2

Hey,

Got my PC here and the case fans are so loud, they are just the stock 3x 140mm fans in the define S2, but I just really think that they shouldn't be this loud. All 3 fans are plugged in to the included fan hub but I don't think it's working. Tried adjusting the fan curve but it doesn't pick up that there are any fan's connected to the system, changed the fans to the PWM header on the hub and if anything, its louder. Does anyone else have the same problem? or are these fans just geniunly loud?

I have the S2 meshify myself. The fans included are only 3 pin, meaning they do not respond to PWM, but DC voltage control.

The fan hub splits a signal from the motherboard. Do you have a 4pin pwm fan plugged into the first 4pin header on the hub? That's what's used for reading rpm and is needed for the motherboard fan control.

If the hub uses SATA, you can't use it to control 3pin fans. Connect fans directly to your mobo.

The included fan hub supports both 3pin dc and 4pin pwm. https://www.fractal-design.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/Manual_Define-S2-13.15-MB.pdf
