For those who are curious about how this atrocity came about, the pro carbon was on sale for the same price as the Tomahawk. I was upgrading the kids' computer, and they are too young for any graphically demanding stuff so they don't need great specs, but I plan on updating them as I update my own rig, so I needed something with a decent lifespan.

 

So they get this mobo with a ryzen 3 3200g, whose onboarding graphics are way better than a 9 year old low tier graphics card...but their monitor only has VGA in, while the mobo only has HDMI and Displayport out.

 

So they get a graphics card that will slow them down until the adapter ships.
