Hey there community, I had a question regarding budget GPU's for streaming on PC. I currently use a Dell XPS 15 2017 and have streamed in the past on it. However it has been very difficult as it cuts into my frames and really doesn't do well for what I want. I play competitive CSGO and actually was planning to stream Valorant, frames are very important to me and I want to always be above 60 FPS. I was looking at getting an external GPU USBC port and would comfortably handle both. I will eventually be doing a full PC build, but for now, I just want to get things up and running as soon as I can while I work on the bigger expense. Current specs: GTX 1050, i7700, 16 gb ram, 512gb NVMe SSD, 2 1080p 60hz monitors. Also a common issue I have with running my laptop is GPU throttling due to overheating, I would like to not run into this issue ever. Any feedback would be wonderful. Thanks in advance.

1660 Super would be the best bet, the new encoder for nvenc is great.

Don't get an AMD card if you plan to stream using the GPU. AMD's hardware encoder is pretty underwhelming.

GTX 1060 has been mentioned... I don't have a completely limited budget, I just can't buy an RTX Titan for the next 3-4 months. Is this a good resale option? Would an RTX series card be better? I can comfortably spend around 200-500, more concerned about resale and that I get good performance (not mediocre)
