I plan on building a M-itx gaming lan box my budget's around $1700CAD after shipping and handling. I plan on using it mainly for HD gaming (BF4/COD/Titanfall/Elderscrolls), streaming/uploading vids here and there. I will most likely be running dual monitors but that wont happen for a couple months.

I'm Also trying to make this build as quiet as possible and plan to enable the boost on the 4670.

So far this is what I've come up with so far.

CPU:i5-4670  $239

mobo: ASUS Impact VI   $239

GPU: MSI GTX 770 2gb #389

Cooling: Corsair H100i  $106

RAM: G.Skill ripjaws 1600MHz 8GB (2x4) $89

SSD: 250GB  Samsung EVO  $159

PSU: Corsair CX600M  $89 (Not sure if I should upgrade to 650 or if this will have all the wires I need)

Case: Corsair 250D  $109

OS: Win 7 64bit  $110  (Possibility of Steam OS once available)

Grand Total $1,529

Approx 1.6-1.7 after shipping.

Let me know what you guys think and if there's any compatibility issues or suggestions on how to improve this build.

*Note* I have a dog that sheds quiet a bit so i'm leaning towards watercooling/ cases that come with dust filters for all ventilation holes.

I like the Hadron more for a case. Smaller, cheaper.

I'd spend a little extra for a 770.

Is 250gb enough for you?

Well I like the whole handle concept the prodigy has and the dust filtered face will really help me get some clean air into it. I have a dog so unfiltered vent holes will have my PC guts looking like a fur coat. Also I have a 120 gb ssd right now and i've install everything i need/want and have 40gb left, so I think it will due, if need be ill add a second 120/250gb ssd

Are you in the US? The 250gb could be had much cheaper.

I agree though, honestly 250gb would probably be more than enough for me as well. Some people have massive Steam libraries though. I find unused games are like clutter and I can't stand clutter

I'm in Canada and yeah 250GB will probably be sufficient for me. Ill be switching over to a 250D now so space wont be a issue for HDD/SDD.

It might be worth seeing if these come back in stock in time for your build.

They usually pop in and out of stock pretty frequently. They also have a bunch of other B Stock cards.

I'm pretty sure people are having trouble fitting the H100 and the impact in the 250D so just a heads up.

Corsair's PSU's have been less than impressive lately also so don't just limit yourself to corsair only. For mitx silverstone has a short cable set for their power supplies so it may be worth a look. (Take a look at some reviews on jonnyguru on other psu's) Also people have been known to run titan's on 450w sfx psu so you shouldn't need to go higher.

Also if NCIX is near, you can order and pick up in store so it might save you shipping.
