I don't know why they decided to ruin their motherboard color scheme with z87. The brown pcb and yellow crap on their z87 boards (apart from their maximum super high end line) are ugly af. They look like old 2003 motherboards. On top of that the price is inflated as well. Now I'll just stick to gigabyte or asrock (even asrock makes good great motherboards these days, and the price is killer)

Also, MSI does some pretty awesome stuff. And don't forget EVGA. :)

I bought the V Edition of this motherboard back in January and it's a very nice board. Mine is the same as this board, but without the wireless. I felt the same as you about its looks, but after getting mine and seeing it in person, I can honestly say it really does look nice. I certainly do love the red and black colors of the ASUS ROG boards and almost got the Hero, but I am happy with my decision.

By the way, how do you like your Corsair C70 Vengeance Arctic White case? Was just looking at it on Newegg.

EVGA is great, but quite a bit overpriced compared to the competition.

As for MSI, the only reason I don't like them is because of the whole dragon logos everywhere "zomg dragon performance". It seems childish and I can't bear to witness all the rice. This is the reason I hate those alienware laptop type things as well.
