So I'm building a PC right after quarantine and it's my first one.

https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/JC8wHB

This is my list. I'm planning to stream/ record games/ and just generally game on it.

Is there anything else I can do to improve it? Would this get me 100 + fps?  This may be a bit too much for my first build but yeah.

Thanks! =)

no need for other than stock cooler. (if you ever need one "artic freezer 34 sports duo" will do)

no need for x570 board. b450 board will do just fine.

2tb hdd and better ssd.

better value psu.

and yes this will get you over 100fps on AAA titles on ultra when playing with that monitor

I Use my knowledge as business owner and self taught technician aswell as an AI to help people. AI might be controversial but it actually works pretty well 90% of the time.

Yeah, that'll work I'd say.

I run a 3700x cpu, and for my friend when I built his pc I had him go with a 3600m, him also primarily into gaming. That cpu and gpu should easily get you 100+ fps at 1080p.

As far as recording/streaming goes I think you'll be alright. I did notice as for the ram you chosen the CAS latency is 18, I'd recommend finding one that's around 15 or 16, even if you gotta go with something like 3200 speed. Then depending on how it performs you could easily double the ram later to help with the streaming/recording.

AMD does have good temps and all, but if he plans on overclocking his cpu, I'd imagine he'd want something better than the stock cooler. That said, with my friend that has a 3600 in his pc, I don't remember if it was a 120mm or 140mm AiO, but he was able to get a stable OC of 4.2ghz, stress tests putting it at around 76c under load. That said, considering the guy lives in Australia where it can get pretty motherfucking hot, I think a 240mm AiO will be the better choice.

You're spending a lot of money on bling and RGB. Also, a $200 cooler is not necessary for a ryzen 5 3600.

if your budget is something in the ballpark of $2500-$3000, this would be a more performance minded build:

CPU: Ryzen 9 3900x - $450

Cooler: (included)

Motherboard: MPG X570 Gaming Plus - $170

Memory: 32GB of G.Skill Ripjaw V - $260

Storage: 2tb Sabrent Rocket - $280

GPU: Rtx 2080 Ti - $1200

Case: H510 - $70

PSU: Cooler Master 750w - $115

Monitor: AOC 24G2 - $317

Total: $2862

You get a much better CPU, top of the line GPU, double the RAM, and quadruple storage, and is roughly the same price.

OP is located in Australia, prices are much higher there.

Was about to say that.

A $3000 budget in Australia is probably the equivalent to a $1500-2000 one here in Americaland
