The biggest difference will probably be comfort, due to a higher price usually meaning better mouse shape and grip material. Sensors vary from mouse to mouse, but they will most likely be of a higher quality than any office mouse.

They usually feel a million times better in the hand. More buttons so you can go forward and back on webpages etc. I find that alone is worth the upgrade.

I'd look for a mouse with a soft touch finish to be honest. I'll never go back since using one.

Ergonomics are also greatly improved.

any of those will do.

so long as you can touch it and feel comfortable then it's gold.

gave my wife a razer mamba 2013. she used it for 2 months and didn't like it. then she bought a 2$ mouse from cdrking and she's gold.

the mamba was too big for her hand either way. it's sitting in my shelf collecting dust just what a razor should do.

Live your life like a dream.

A cheap office mouse will break down over time quite easily especially if you play RTS, FPS, or MMO games. I think you are on the right track with a standard mouse that is solid like the Sensei you could also look towards the G400 from Logitech as well has a few more buttons however.
