Do usb Headsets work with Pcs?

Try right clicking on your speaker icon by the clock, select recording devices , and select the microphone. Right click and choose set as default or something like that.  After you restart applications, they should pick it up and use that microphone by default.

 

Or from various applications, make sure you go in their options/settings and select the actual microphone on your usb device.

I tried pluging in my usb headset and the audio worked but the mic did not. I tried all of my usb ports and I have my drivers installed. Do I need some sort of adapter?
