Chromium based web browsers and other programs go blank after hibernation

ClaytonDoesThings

I'm on the latest driver for my graphics card and whenever I put my computer into hibernate (doesn't happen every time and not to every program at once), some programs will go completely blank. Sometimes it goes white, sometimes it goes black. This is not isolated to just Windows 10. This happened in my install of pop!os which is Ubuntu based as well where the problem actually seemed to be worse. The most common programs effected are Chromium based browsers like the Brave Browser and Discord. However, this sometimes happens with other programs as well like Steam, Visual Studio Code, Blender, and Unity. This problem is very annoying and the only solutions I've found searching online is disabling my GPU in these programs which is something I can't do for all of these. I'd like to just fix the root cause of this problem instead of just "patching" it. Any help would be appreciated.
