To Admin: Forum links are dofollow

Greetings!

I just noticed that the forum links (posted by users) are dofollow. I am currently working as an SEO (Search Engine Optimization specialist), and dofollow forums are quite often gets spammed by links. They may not do it now, since the forum currently have a low PR (Page Rank).

It may be a wise move to change to links to nofollow.

This is just my opinion, I have seen many forums die with spams specially in the Tech niche where people rank their blog posts often. What are your thoughts?
