Case fans?

Gazeley

I recently finished building my PC, however I had an after thought of case fans. I have the psu fan facing downward, the cpu cooler fan facing towards the case's back fan. Do I need to invest in fans? If so, where do I put them?

The two case fans that come with the case should be enough, if you aren't significantly overclocking.

Yeah I don't wanna have to deal with overclocking really, thank you!

It should be fine if there's already 2 case fans. Ideally, more fans the better though so if you do want to invest in some, put another in the front, to start. That'd be priority, dust alone, the positive pressure will help expel dust out instead of sucking it in through all the extra holes, in the pcie slots for example. having it completely neutral is ok, but for dust, Id add another in the front. you will probably see better temps just from 1 additional fan in the front top. You also have to think of how the air will flow, you want it in then out, dont want vortex's or anything. Bottom line, you'll be fine. Ideally, if you have a couple extra bucks, try to get another.

What are your temps? If they are ok for you, then you don't need more fans. Also check GPU temps. GPU is usually the one that benefits most from adding intake fans.

You can check both in several ways. For example using HWmonitor or HWiNFO. Or with MSI Afterburner. Or many other monitoring software.
