20$ S4...

xjohnny3589

I could've sworn their seller rating was 98% just a few hours ago...

It was. People seem to be ordering and reporting it as a scam within the same 10 minutes. I'm giving it a chance, but not holding my breath.

So this dude found a bunch of boxes and said to himself, maybe if I advertise these pieces of cardboard as expensive phones but at super cheap prices people will think "O its so cheap might as well try it" and buy all of them.

Life is pain. Anyone who says any different is either selling something or the government.

eBay removed the listing and probably banned his account. If anyone did buy it just contact eBay and get your money back.

why don't people listen to me? After all, I am psychic :-)

Don't really have anything to loose. Pay $20, possibly get a fake S4 and use the eBay money back guarantee to get back your money. In this case we never got the fake phone, but we can still get back our money.

It did have CM on it, but it kept picking up mobile broadcasts and I couldn't turn it off, so I just went back to the stock OS. Shame though, because I loved everything else about it.

As others have said, the listings have been removed and the seller account has been banned. Disappointing, but it was worth a shot I suppose. Already contacted eBay support. Hopefully the refund process goes smoothly.

If you have the AT&T variant of the S2, the ShoStock roms never gave me any trouble and are quite amazing I think.

Fake or someone in China found a case full of 10,000 S5 units that got lost at the shipyard and wants to make a quick $20K. There is A LOT of tech stuff that just gets "lost" in China during import/export/factory/etc.

As someone who used to live next-door to one of Victoria's biggest freight transporting company's manager, I can confirm that half the things that are 'lost' in transit are actually just insured shipments that people at the company decided they'd like to take home.

We used to get lots of free stuff like shampoo/soap, gravy, carbonated drinks like coca-cola, furniture and even TV's. Even a full-sized glass basketball backboard with hoop and net.

I would have thought common sense would be a thing. Especially if you go look through his other listings they're all sunglasses.

Kind of an odd jump to suddenly receive hundreds of cell phones. Not to mention the screen alone costs more than $20.

An interesting money grab by that guy. If he'd gotten away with it he'd probably be quite rich where he lives.
