PC to CRT TV

Hey, I've got a CRT TV that only has Composite, Component, and S-video, and I have a PC from the same era that only has VGA, sticking a GPU in there isn't viable, as it only has PCI slots and is SFF, is there a way to adapt VGA to Component without buying an adapter?

you must use a converter for that.

converting vga to component yourself would be labor intensive.

Yes those adapters do indeed exist. Some older GPUs up to I believe the last ATI Radeons had a dedicated component out for video (yellow adapter cable). Never tried it though as I prefer to play my N64 via HDMI adapter on a fast IPS panel. What you are looking for is a VGA to RCA cable.

Buying a used old gpu with component would probably cheaper than buying a adapter.

Twenty years ago I always had my PC hooked up to my TV to watch movies.  I still have all the gear for it too.  Somewhere.
