Say for a moment I were to use: http://www.amd.com/us/products/workstation/graphics/firepro-display-wall...

And monitor grouping, set the 6 tv panels into one large display area.

What software playback programs allow you to full screen playback multiple video sources.

I'm sure you understand what I mean but I'll be a little more obvious:

Upper left 1920*1080pixels will playback xyzxyzxyz.mp4

Upper Middle 1920*1080pixels will playback yyyxxxzzz.avi

Upper Right will playback blah blah blah.blah

Ideally a professional or semi-professional program is preferred. A full screen (like video players are when full screen; borderless / seamless) playback program that you can just drop different sources into different zones within your workspace.

AMD's website has lots of reading material on eyefinity and driving large workspaces or displaywalls. But, there is very little on their website about the software that is running on top of the OS.

The drivers put the screens together - but what good software solutions are there once I have it all setup?

Thank You.

Windowed mode can be dragged across as many monitors as you want. Plus you don't need to install programs :D

My System Specs: (Short list) i7 4770k, GTX 780, many SSD's, a 2 TB HDD(deceased :( ), Corsair 650D. Full list: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/kchriz6097/saved/8dh7YJ

Upgrade Plan: Acquire some Black Noctuas then add 16 or 32GB of 2133MHz memory

do not enable eyefinity (or combine all 6 displays in to one) and you will able to do that with almost any media player

You better be getting thin bezel monitors otherwise the bezel will take up a lot of screen real estate

There are 10 types of people in this world, those who understand binary, and those who don't.

CCC can save profiles - so perhaps just switching between profiles depending on what I want to display on the wall. 6 for a large display single image, or single screens for multiple images.

When you control a computer remotely using Remote Desktop - any idea if you have control over the machines output displays?

LOL - yea... but that was out of anyone's control as we're working with... conditions that are far from optimal. I'm trying to find a solution to an already stupid comedy of errors. You should see my temp bandaid solution. ... imagine a DLNA server hosting pictures - and then each smart tv has to be manually told to play content. With a tv remote control. In a professional environment. It is laughable - seriously - so many people have laughed so hard when I explain what we've done, vs what a single PC outputting from a decent video card solution can deliver.

AMD's HydraVision is ment for this.

Console optimisations and how they will effect you | The difference between AMD cores and Intel cores | Memory Bus size and how it effects your VRAM usage |
How much vram do you actually need? | APUs and the future of processing | Projects: SO - here

Intel i7 5820l @ with Corsair H110 | 32GB DDR4 RAM @ 1600Mhz | XFX Radeon R9 290 @ 1.2Ghz | Corsair 600Q | Corsair TX650 | Probably too much corsair but meh should have had a Corsair SSD and RAM | 1.3TB HDD Space | Sennheiser HD598 | Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro | Blue Snowball

AMD's HydraVision is ment for this.

Was HydraVision not made obsolete by the increased ease of setting up multiple monitors, and eventually solutions like Eyefinity and having a larger array of additional monitors supported.

HydraVision was a virtual desktop environment - flipping between "workspaces"; No?

Edit: no need to answer, I'll look up my own answer. Was just making a quick reply - which wasn't really even needed looking in hindsight. I know CCC allows monitor grouping and arrangement options but I'll check out what capabilities HV would possibly add.
