NVME SSD advice

GeorgeKellow

Hi all

I am about to buy an NVME ssd for my rig.

Can I get some opinions on a few options. This type of storage is all new to me

Crucial CT1000P1SSD8 P1 1 TB

Intel 660P 1TB

Sabrent Rocket Q 1TB NVMe PCIe M.2

Thanks all

(Stay safe in these crazy days ❤️ )

Haven't heard anything about the Sabrent but the other 2 should be good to go.

I personally always go with Samsung for SSD's (970 Evo Plus in your case) and i've never been dissapointed. i've had over half a dozen drives already and they're all running perfectly fine.

these two are essentially equivelent.

you can also probably get something like a SIlicon Power a80, or Team MP34

The Sabrent drive is in a higher performance category than the other two drives.

Samsung is generally overpriced. Adata, well it depends on the drive. But certainly the 3 OP mentions are very valid choices.

Sabrent drive as it also has better write endurance, but the 660p and P1 make great drives for a Steam library.

its ever so slightly better. they are all QLC drives, but what seperates the sabrent drive is the bigger SLC cache and slightly higher TBW rating of 260 instead of 200
