$800 Gaming PC Build Help!

So i am looking to build a budget gaming PC build and am looking for anywhere from $700-$750 *$800 Max.

I originally started PC gaming on the family computer and slowly upgraded it from there until I got to a 660 ti and decided I needed a whole new build. I have been saving money and hope to build a 1080p 60+ FPS gaming rig.

I already have a decent keyboard and mouse but need a 75+Hz Monitor. I also have a 600w ATX power supply I found laying around that is tested and works.

I know a decent bit on PC's and have helped my friends build some before but I don't know what is good and what I can find cheap.

I have put together a rough outline of what I want but make changes as needed. Please and thank you for anyone that wants to help

Thanks.

Update: I didn't include the monitor into the budget because i will buy one later and made a few changes and found stuff cheaper. I got some stuff from micro center cheap and on sale.

Hey @Nick_Slur!

Personally I think the AMD Build is a Better because:

- Pricing

- Actual Preformance

And The Core i5-9400F is at a much lower clockspeed and Is Not Overclockable.

Hope that Helps.

ive for mid range pc's have always felt that getting components that are just a little faster/better (more costly) is normally worth the extra wait and saving some more.

my original build was meant to be about £900-£1000 but ended up being closer £1300. its still running great performs very well all i've done is added more RAM. this was 4 years ago.

I would expand the SSD to 500gb and the HDD to 2TB.

Also leave out the peripherals as it changes the way you view the build. A new monitor is a much easier to get down the line over a component that will benefit you more

for an $800 budget for modern gaming, i would look into the new PS5 coming out, you can barely buy a decent GPU for $800 now.

all depends if you want AAA gaming, very difficult on that budget.
