I need help with my first pc build

Fr3ddy

The other day I began building my first computer which I finished with little hassle but after I plugged in the monitor and turned the computer on the monitor didn't regognise it. I've tried 3 different monitors and cables (all working) I've tried to clean my ram and Gpu checked my cables (all plugged in properly). All my compenents are new as of 2 days ago and seem to be working as the monitor recognised my computer for a couple of hours and when I turned it off and on again it went back to the former issue.

Here is a list of my components.

Processor=AMD Ryzen 5 3600

Motherboard=Asus Prime B450m-A updated bios

Graphics card= Radeon RX 580 Sapphire nitro+ special edition.

Power supply= Evga 500w 80+ efficiency

Hard drive= seagate 1tb

Ram= cheap ram 4gb

Cooling= 4 corsair fans

Case= corsair carpide spec-delta.

Thankyou

Just to make sure - does the computer light up when you turn it on?

And does your mobo have an error code diplay area?

if by no video you mean its not posting then i'd suspect the totally unbranded ram to be the issue

Does the pc turn on?

 If so, it might be related to the GPU

What about the gpu? Do the fans on it spin. Is it being powered properly?

At least its not a knock off ram stick! What slot did you put your ram in? They should be labelled 1-2-3-4 or A-B-C-D. check your mobo manual to see if you put your ram in the right slot.

I have checked my motherboard manual and my ram is in the right slot

I'd try to boot with a single stick of RAM in slot 2.  Try them both separately, see if she boots then.

Just reread that.  Why on earth using 4GB RAM with a Ryzen 3600?

When you say Cheap RAM, what exactly is it?  Wondering if it's even compatible.
