While I was using my other laptop just watching some videos and later something happened it bsod I was so shocked and later when I opened it , it was so freaking slow and when it was already on windows screen everytime I press something just a little bit of icon it will lag and I tried to ctrl+alt+delete but nothing happens just after 10 mins of waiting the programs opened even the task mesenger but its useless it so slow it cant do anything I need help

Turn it off. Then leave it for a bit. Then turn it back on.

Re-seat the RAM, maybe use a pair of unused RAM modules and HDD. Not quite sure what's happening. 

 

Turn it off. Then leave it for a bit. Then turn it back on.

He's done it already, but trying again won't do any harm.

If you're tech savy enough running linux off a USB flash drive can determine if the problem is hardware or software.

My rig: 2600k(4.2 GHz) w/ Cooler Master hyper 212+, Gigabyte Z68-UD3H-B3, Powercolor 7870 xt(1100/1500) w/AIO mod,

I didn't get that from what he said, he said he closed it and opened it again. My laptop has started to develop a problem where it doesn't actually sleep, it just freezes but the screen stays off when you open it.

Holding down the power button and letting it sit for a few minutes then turning it back on helps. It could be a similar issue.

Though I have blame mine on Chrome. It only happens when it's been running.

Well I have my laptop to shut down when I close it, you can change it in the power settings.

Well, idk, I can advise him to re-seat the RAM, use other RAM and/or another HDD.

was it videos on the web? then maybe.
A dodgy flash player can crash your system. I have had that problem.  It can lock up the whole system or crash it. and sometimes both. :angry:

Some fixes:
update/reinstall everything, yep even plugins. (i am talking about internet browsers/plugins and anything else associated with them.)
disbale plugins on your browser.
disable hardware acceleration.
Change browsers. Firefox/chrome/safari/IE..others.

If it was RAM, I would imagine you would have more erratic problems. but reseat it like stated above
