60 FPS

for some reason my games only go up to 60 fps even tho i didnt set a limit anyone help?

Do you have Vsync turned on? Either in the Nvidia Control Panel or the games?

And what games are you talking about?

dont think i ahve vsync on
games : gta V r6s scp secret lab etc.

Please make sure vsync is off.

Open the  Nvidia Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > Scroll down to 'Vertical Sync' and make sure it's set to 'Use the 3D application setting'.

Then in game make sure it's turned off.

 

Also, run a benchmark using fraps and see if max fps goes above 60.

I would check, GTA V usually has Vsync on by default,

mh ok another question for some reason i cant go over 60hz on my monitor u know why?

A monitor is a certain Hz. If the monitor you bought is a 60Hz monitor, it will only do 60Hz, unless you overclock it.

But Hz and fps are - as long as you don't use Freesync, Gsync or Vsync - separate from each other.

What monitor and what cable are you using?

Theres an option in nVida drivers to limit fps to whatever you find pleasing, though I think it's rarely the case..

 

I'd go with DDU and driver reinstall.

I can't find this monitor online. Try looking up if the monitor supports 75Hz over HDMI
