Some people say it's such a huge difference, but after using one for a round of BF3, it's ok but nothing special. I'll take IPS/PLS anyday.

I have 300$ left in my budget and probably 23-25 inch?

Honestly there are a lot of IPS monitors that are in that size range, the best thing would be for you to check them out and choose the one that aesthetically looks the best and is cheap.

Here are a few that I found though.

And here are all the monitors if you want to look.

thanks!

Dont really want to look at all those, and I dont know if it's in there or not, but look at the Acer H236hl. It's great, and could eventually be good for triple monitor setup later.

I went with the IPS advice and last year after this video and the tests done at Tomshardware I had to try it. So I bought a Benq XL2411T and bam I can't ever go back. The difference in motion is immediate even within Windows. I find it hard to just move a mouse pointer around on a 60hz computer now, I can see it jumping around! Once you have gone high hz most don't ever go back.

If you're going to use it to game, don't go IPS, just get a 120hz monitor, its an overall better experience.
