9900K vs 9700K games 1440P

Hello. I dont have much money to spare. So i am thinking to buy 9700K instead of 9900K. But i am worried if when games will be using more than 8 threads ( 9900K )?
So what buy now?

It comedown to which GPU you have.

If you do not have a 2080ti, go with 9700k, the difference should extremely small and not worth the 150$ markup.

But those are all top of the line parts...

anyway... by the time most games use more than 8 cores, your concern will not just be the difference between 9700K and 9900K.

If your main task is to play games, get a 9700K and it will be great for a while.

If you don't already have a motherboard, why not a 3700X or wait for 10900K (or w/e the name will be)?

Why not get a 3700x? Its cheaper than both the 9700k and 9900k and has threads out the yin yang.
