NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB says 2047MB ??
why does my 6gb used gpu ( bought it today ) say it is 2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB (ASUStek Computer Inc)

Is this using GPU-Z? If not, what does GPU-Z say?

Preferably I would like a full screenshot of GPU-Z, as there is a lot of information in there.

Yeah u know what happened? I set witcher 3 to ultra and gpus fan went to 100% and my pc shut down

It happened again... when i go to game my monitor just shuts down... witcher music is still playing and gpu goes to 100%

Overheating? What are the temps? Does it run okay not on ultra?

*edit, the bios shouldn't have an impact with this problem, sorry about that 

pretty sure there's a "fans spinning after shutdown" feature on your BIOS you can turn off. but i dont think this is the problem

I couldnt see... also when i enter game now it happens immediately... the temperatures didnt seem that hogh at first... maybe changing thermal paste would fix it ?

I think they were aeound 70degrees... idk how it runs below ultra cuz it does this...

40 degrees is great for idle. Did you buy the game? Things like that can happen when playing pirated games.

Yes i bought it.. tried again on low settings... on ultra i had 65fps until it happened ... maxbe i will change thermal paste or something... hope psu is good enough
