Soft line or hard line

On of the big decisions You have to make when you are going to water cool your pc is to pick witch tubes to get. If it is your first water cooled build then you will probably want to go soft line. Unlike hardline tubing you do not need a heat gun to bend your tubing. It is Easter to work with than hard line because it is easier to cut the the hard line. If you are a more experienced builder then you might want to go for hardline. Hardline is harder to work with than soft line. If you are going to be outing your pc on your desk for instance then you might want to go for hard line because the pipes do not sag and much as the soft line.

It was the opposite for me. I did PETG for my first build and soft tubing for my second build.

Found the PETG build a lot easier. It was a simpler build overall though.

Short runs are A LOT more challenging with soft tubing because of kinking and this 2nd build had a ton of short runs.
