Bois update WINDOWS

Hey guys I just upgraded my rig I have a ryzen 5 3600 with a rtx 2060 on a msi b450 gaming Max board which says its ryzen 3000 compatible but I'm just getting to the bios and can't get past it, was wondering because I had an OS installed for my i5 on my ssd will it boot off that?

What OS was that and was it installed in legacy-BIOS mode or UEFI? If UEFI, your new rig should be able to boot from it, if you just set it in BIOS-settings to use the correct drive.
