Fair point, but OP could, and probably should take advantage of NVENC encoding provided by the GPU, which will take a lot of the strain off the CPU. Also, with its much higher single-core performance, the 3600 really doesn't fall far behind the 2700X in multi-threaded tasks (probably only about a 10% advantage for the 2700X on average).
