Choosing a PSU for heavy use

Thanks. But Seasonic one is platinum. Isn’t that better than the be quiet?

The 80+ rating just means that it meets certain efficiency targets. The Focus Plus Platinum has a mediocre fan and lacks multi rail, as is the case all the way up to the Prime Ultra Titanium.

I would consider the RM750x, despite it lacking multi rail. It is easily the quietest of the PSUs under load (check Cybenetics). If you want to step up, you can consider the HX750, which adds multi rail and uses a slightly better fan.

The Be Quiet is a high quality very quiet PSU.

Quiet is not my priority. So choosing a better quality psu(with higher noise) wouldn’t be a issue for me.

thanks a lot for your suggestion. I’ll surely keep this in my mind when making my final decisions.

from that list the straight power is the best. you can look at bitfenix whisper as well, as they are very good and cheap

Thanks for your suggestion that’s one I’m going for.

Does the refund you got cover the cost of the PSUs you are looking at or are they more expensive?

I’ve to add like 30$

Not sure why that would be.

The rails got heated a lot being a Faulty PSU

My recommendation still goes to the Be Quiet Straight Power

Sadly I just noticed after @Juularpointed it out that it only has a 5 year warranty. So Maybe won’t be going for it??

First of all, new CM V-series are meh. Second, be quiet! unit are multi-rail which is a plus (especially with multi-GPU setups). Other than that, they're pretty much identical when it comes to performance and quality, so maybe be quiet! SP11 for multi-rail then, although it has 5y warranty so if that matters for you i'd probably suggest Corsair RMx then.

Thanks for pointing out the fact that it only has 5 year warranty.

No, seriously, we need FACTS supporting that. Benchmarks, tests, you name it.

But they make their own PSUs and only PSUs and they even make Corsair PSUs too, that means they're good ! /s
