Recommendation for minimizing bottlenecks?

I currently have a GTX 760 and an i7-4790, and I wish to play Borderlands 3 on 1080p, would a RTX 2060S work, since Borderlands 3 is mostly GPU-Bound?

i mean, yes if you upgrade to anything over GTX 1050 you would probably run over 1080p

Your CPU can handle a 2070 Super with only about 3% FPS loss, so I would recommend to stick with a budget that you are comfortable with.

NOTE: Please look for a card with sufficient cooling and overclocking capabilities, and make sure that it can fit inside your case.
