They both perform very close and should handle 5GHz without problem, perhaps 5.1 or 5.2GHz if you are lucky and can keep the voltage low.

Expensive. Get a 50€ cooler if all you do is game with it as that will produce a load of 70W:s. Something like Fuma2 will cost a lot less and performs almosti identically on oc'd 8700K.

The DRP4 should be fine for that and is quieter but the NH-D15 performs a bit better.
