Why is it US only?  If I get the PC download won't it just give me an Origin code?

Just change your account address to the US. I did it to buy a Bioshock bundle (1-2 & Infinite) at 15$ a little while ago. It was a US only thing but I'm in Canada... 

 

If that's not enough, use Hotspot Shield or Hola Chrome extension (free). I just don't remember if I switched Hola on when purchasing Bioshock...

There is a plugin/addon (Not sure if plugin or addon. Did this a long time ago to get BF 3 for 4 USD)  that you have to disable and it won't redirect you to the page of your country.

boom! I have wanted to pick this game up, and now it's at a price that I am ok with paying

With today's technology I often wonder why we don't have colonies on the moon or Mars. Then I go to Wal Mart for 5 minutes and realize the vast majority of the human populace isn't ready for such things.
