So should i finally go for the 840 EVO cause they are 2 dollars cheaper and supposedly faster?

I'd say go with the EVO. It's a better drive overall. It's also sexy as hell

corsair force series gs 128gb vs Samsung 840 Series 120GB SSD


Please, Please. .... don't Try to recommend any sort of ssd except them as i am interested in just both of em ' 


OCZ, PLEXTOR etc. not available in my country..

This is a great buy in the 120 GB segment.

Buying the 840 could be an option but you will have to live with 1st Generation SSD I/O rates.

It's performs a bit worse but the difference isn't big enough that you would notice the difference in everyday usage. 

Not sure about service..

 

The 840 Evo is the newer and better version of the 840.

The EVO is newer and considered better overall than the 840. I think it performs slightly less than the 840, but nothing you'll notice.

I don't think it's worth the extra money over the cheaper SP600 I linked.

The EVO is newer and considered better overall than the 840. I think it performs slightly less than the 840, but nothing you'll notice. 

The Evo is pretty much better than the normal 840 in every way including for performance.
