Ryzen apu better than old gpu

Hi everyone im new and i need your help pleas i was wondering in my ryzen 3 2200g apu better is than my current old gpu a radeon R7 250x 1gb

2200G iGPU is about GT 1030 level.

The GT 1030 is a bit better than the R7 250x.

they are fairly similar, tho the r7 250x will most likely allow you to overclock it a lot.

The gpu doesent work when i overclock it even just a bit so do i remove it and enable the apu?

try testing? benchmark just the apu then try again with apu and gpu

plenty of free benchmarks out there

or try an fps counter in your typical games you play

 

my usual answer is it depends on the amount of ram you have and its clock/frequency
