Help picking the right cooler

MorderNo

Hello everyone :)

I'm planning on bulding a PC with these parts

I have read a lot of topics about air cooling but yet I can't choose the one I need... Help !

Needs

Something that can cool my PC pretty well without spending 200€

Use :

Gaming, not overclocking. (Some of you are maybe going to say that i should stick with the stock cooler but they are a lot of different opinions on the forum)

Budget

Something  reasonable for the build. I guess there is no need to put 100€ for a cooler in a build like this right ?

Other questions

Should I pick a top tier cooler to keep for the next builds ? (Risk of compatibility ??)
If you suggest one cooler, could you explain why ? Please

------------

Thanks by advance for all the reply you guys are the bests.

Sorry for faults in the text

Wraith Prism RGB. Not kidding, it's a capable cooler and you can pick them up DIRT cheap on ebay since people sell them off when they buy their R7 and R9 cpu's. It's in use on my 3600 system. PBO enabled and it keeps it well in check. plus the RGB is a nice touch but you can definitely turn it off if you so desire.

Sure I ll take that in consideration if I don't receive other propositions :)

Thx

I'd recommend some tower cooler with 4 or more heatpipes.

My cheap favorite is the Snowman from AliExpress. That's for global.

If you're in the EU, the LC Power LC-CC-120 and it's variants are pretty good but cheap.

There's a CPU cooler tier list here on the forum. Check it out, it's not bad.

One version has metal clips and the other has plastic clips for mounting the fan. I personally prefer the metal clips for easier installation. The plastic clips will get brittle over time from heat. I have a plastic clip that have cracked after a couple of years when I replaced or moved the fan. It's a good thing I didn't use the spare clip a for push and pull setup.

I'm not familiar with all versions, but it looks like Hyper 212 Black Edition is the only one with metal clips. EVO has plastic clips and regular fan without the LED/RGB. There are other versions not  labeled EVO with plastics clips.

The stock cooler and case fans should be fine. If you're not looking for any particular features, try using them first. You can decide on whether or not to replace them later.

It also depends where you are as well if you are some that got hot summers then you will need a better cooler.
