Have been having issues with my refurbished RX 570 and need to upgrade, as most games are unplayable because the card is dying. Mostly play games such as Apex or Minecraft atm but want to play Ark at some point. Thinking of going with the 5700 xt, but don't know if that's what I should go for, as I only want to spend $2-300 US. Thoughts?

That is going to be a hell of an upgrade and it really offers the best performance for what you get.
