I've been looking to put together my first build and I have been leaning towards the Ryzen 5 3600 and I was gonna pair it up with the RTX 2060 Super but when looking at this card there are some that are $528 CAD - $629 CAD. Should I just go for the cheapest one or should I look deeper into each of the different specs? or is there a certain version of the RTX 2060 Super that anyone recommends?

Always look at reviews. Some cards might have absolutely horrific coolers, which can greatly affect performance.

Also consider warranty, as some companies might be significantly harder to work with than others.

Mhh idk about that but i never had a prob with buying one of the cheaper msi cards etc and they all run without prob (stock) even if they run 80+ stock they will still work no prob i would never pay +100 for a fancy cooler and even the high end asus cards etc had problems with the cooler so eh

I mean I get it: It runs also without problems. My 290x with the stock blower also did. But sounded like a A380 takeoff... and shut itself down sometimes xD

you dont have to get the super fancy cards. Thats right, besides willing to water them and push for max OC. But at the bottom of the line there are always shit cards (example 5700xt THICC or the first revision MSI thingy). Especially at the bottom its important to look for reviews. Sometimes the difference between crap and ok cooler is 10 bucks. That IS worth it!

FOLDING MONTH 2021! GOGOGO and save on some heating costs 🙂

They work, sure, but you'll get better performance at lower card temps, system temps, and noise for just a little more.

Paying 20/30 more for a bit better cooling fine but some of those high price cards are just insane the even hit prices of the low price higher tier gpus and thats just insane :D
