Shadow Tech Drop the Ball!

Hi all, received this email today about the Shadow Tech pre order. I thought I'll share that with you and see what is your opinion on what they call the future of gaming! Personaly I'm rather disapointed. The part that I don't like is I joined the pre-order just with a 1 month subscription for the Infinity package to test it out and according to this email this is not gonna happen anytime soon.

We have some great, good and bad news regarding the Shadow pre-orders.

Here’s what you need to know:

THE GREAT

100% of Shadow Boost pre-orders will be activated by the end of February, for those who were expecting delivery in February AND April.

THE GOOD

100% of pre-ordered additional storage will also be delivered by March, for every active Shadow, whatever configuration you have pre-ordered.

100% of Shadow Ghost will be delivered starting from March, for every active Shadow, whatever configuration you have pre-ordered.

THE BAD

A small percentage of people will be activated for their Shadow Ultra & Shadow Infinite offers starting in March.

Others won’t be activated until further notice. Rest assured, we are working to confirm a date, but there are too many uncertainties to say anything at this moment.

We of course worked on intermediary solutions so that you can make the most of Shadow while you wait. New users will be able to choose to be activated on a Shadow Boost. Current users will be able to switch to the Shadow Boost price. You can expect to receive a tailored email on February 19th that will outline in detail the solutions we have put into place for your exact situation.

Tbh. Just by looking at the first paragraph on their site and seeing how stadia did I am not sure why people would be interested at all let alone ore order it.

After soo many years of countless fails the fact that people still preorder is beyond me.

I tested their system back last year and tbh it work very well but I got rid of it because the specs they were offering were not good enough in my opinion for the £29 something I was paying at the time. It suited my needs I'm a long time gamer but lost the appetite to build my own rig anymore and don't fancy splashing a lot on a top end pre build which 1 or 2 years later has lost 50% of his value. Anyway that's why I was interested.
