gtx 1650 super or rx 580?

hello!. im planning on upgrading my gpu and my psu.  and im trying to figure out wich one of these two cards is better for me. any help is appreciated.

i live in argentina and both cards cost pretty much the same. here is my system:

amd fx 6350 (wich i plan to upgrade at some point)

mb asrock extreme 970 r2.0

8gb ram

1tb hdd

500w psu (plan on getting a 750w 80+)

and currently a poor old gt 730

so since i cant really afford to upgrade everything  right now i figure it was better to start with my gpu.

im more than happy playing at 1080p and only plan on using one monitor.

my main question is: would it be better to have the rx 580 with 8gb gddr5 or the more recent gtx 1650 super with 4 gb gddr6?

would having more vram help with the old cpu? or is it better to have a more recent gpu?

580 with more Vram will be better for the future.

Your CPU is a massive bottleneck, it will depend on games, some games use Vram to cache parts of the world so your CPU doesn't have to  waste cycles rendering it.

looking at the video they close, 1650 does have a much lower TDP, if power is an issue but overall 8gb Vram on the 580 will be better.

I would go with the RX 580 with 8 gb vram...much more future proof IMO.

Considering that rx580 goes for around $100 in the used market. I'll highly recommend it.

Also, AMD cards age pretty well.
