New Build OS

Sorry if this is the wrong section, I couldn't see anywhere else to put it.

So tomorrow i'm doing essentially a new build (new MB, CPU, GPU but keeping psu/storage). My OS is installed on a 256gb Samsung 970 evo ssd.

Am I better just using my existing installation of windows or doing a fresh install with the new hardware? My Windows key is linked to my Microsoft account so validating the install shouldn't be an issue.

Current OS will have the wrong drivers...fresh install is always the easiest solution...

It's not like the current install won't work. Sometimes switching from Intel to AMD it doesn't work.

So, a fresh windows install is recommended.

IMO fresh install is best. You might get away with using it, but there's a chance that you'll have to spend longer trying to fix driver issues, program re-installations etc than to do a fresh install anyway.
