Are gaming laptops reliable?

Razer blades are breaking after only one year, and luke and linus said that gaming laptops don't last long. How have your experiences been?

They all run pretty hot and they're difficult to repair (compared to a standard pc)

So far mine has been fine, I just think I've set stuff up wrong, but at the same time I have nowhere for a PC tower and set up on my dining room table as well as needing to take it to college for game design.

all depends, can't give a specific answer on that... There are always good models and bad ones like the blade or sth. like that. If you get a cool running and keep it clean, you will probably have more time with it than one where you can cook on
