Hi,

I have a BeQuiet! Dark Base Pro 900 Rev.2 case. My problem is that the port on the far right does not work. (marked with red circle on picture).

I thought it was a defect pcb and i contacted Bequiet support and they where so nice to send me a replacement part. But also here the same problem!

So i dont think its the pcb... It should be backwards compatible with usb 3.0 and 2.0 but none of my external usb sticks or hdd will be recognized in windows. They get power couse i see the external hdd led go on but nothing else happens.

All other ports work just fine.

This is all connected to a ASUS Zenith 2 extreme mobo.

All drivers are installed and there are none explanation marks in device manager nor are there not recognized hardware parts.

I searched everywhere but can't find anyone else having this issue.

Anyone know what the problem is?

That's a charging port, it's possible the case manufacturer did not bother to hook up the USB data lines. Otherwise it would just be a regular USB port.

  • 10 months later...

Already posted on that topic here. After some research seems that problem is with Ryzen chipset and drivers, that is the reason why front panel USB 3.1 gen 2 connectors not getting enough power.

Anyway did you managed to use last two ports on front panel?
