I'm scared guys!

Osmium

I am probably going to lose power in the next 24 hours. What do I do?!

For that matter what do you guys usually do when the power dies?

For that matter what do you guys usually do when the power dies?

Walk around like an ant with its head cut off.

Eat.

If you know power's going to go out, why don't you use that time to catch up with a friend?

Buy a gas powered generator, extension cords, and make sure all of your devices are already fully charged.

We lose power alot here in Houston.  I have a Honda gas generator to keep the refrigerator and freezer running, and other important things like that.  I charge devices from it too if I have to.

Then I use my smartphones hotspot/wifi as an internet connection until power comes back on.

*or go outside. lol

Buy a generator

^This!

Buy one of these big generators that you can get at Canadian Tire/equivalent american store , put it in your garage (or even worse, outside) and let it run 24/7 until it runs out of fuel/your neightbor murder you.

I would but ice is kind of a problem. Sure it is not bad compared to a lot of other countries/states but nobody here is used to it.

Surprisingly where I live, the only power outage we've had this winter lasted for only about 30 minutes (could've been more, I was sleeping when the power might've gone out). The power goes out here if a small 30 second gust happens. I won't be surprised if the power goes out here with the 10-15 inches of heavy snow we're supposed to get tomorrow.

Yeah, Cox cut our Internet and Cable for the whole day yesterday. I had an important assignment due today that was stored on Google Docs :( and most of the kids in my class have Verison FiOS so my excuse sounded super cheesy.

No power in entire Houston but you have still 3G reception impresive:) then the antenes must be powerd by the other state xD or other plant.
