First Time Build, Need Help Choosing Parts

I'm planning to do my first water cooling build, the parts I already have are:

i5 2500k

xfx 7950DD

8gb g.skill

Gigabyte P67X-UD3-B3

Samsung 830 128 Gb

seasonic M12II 750W

4 scythe gt 120mm fans

The parts im planning to order are:

Factal Design R4

XSPC EX240 35 mm thick or an Alphacool NeXxoS Monsta 240mm 80mm thick for the front

stealth gt 240mm for the top (the top rad must be 30mm thick or less to fit)

ek supremacy cpu block

ek supremacy universal gpu block

bitspower 150mm res

d5 vario pump

I don't know what I need to connect the 150mm res to the pump. I want to use 1/2 inch inner diameter tubing and 3/4 inch outer diameter, but I don't know what tubing I should get. I want to use compression fittings, but I don't know how many I need and what angle ones I need.

First remove the hard drive cages so you can have much space and ventalation as possible. Tubing is not much of a concern, just get any and it will work just as fine. Fittings must comply however!

There is a VERY high chance you cannot put a waterblock on this GPU. How many DVI ports does it have?

If it has two you are screwed.

Feel free to PM for any water-cooling questions. Check out my profile for more ways to contact me.

Many waterblocks could be there. Only thing is: "Who makes them?"

You're wrong.

I know because I had a 7950DD. I had to sell it.

I'm using a universal gpu block so its just covering the gpu and I'm going to put individual heatsinks on the ram and mosfets so i don't think that their will be any conflicts with the pcb design. Besides I believe my card has a reference design pcb. There is only one dvi port.

All right. HOWEVER!

Why is the waterblock so hard for this card? custom PCB?

I really wouldn't bother using a universal waterblock for the gpu.

If it has 2 DVI ports it doesnt have a reference PCB.

I see. Lets hope the universal block works then.

It only has a single dvi port, why would you advise against a universal waterblock?

In that case you are fine for a full cover. Probably.
