I like it. I'd add a better cooler (with a better cooler the R5 3600 performs like 3600X) and ddr4 3600 RAM since Zen 2 is known to like it.

Also, maybe a 7200rpm drive instead of the 5400.

Do you know any ddr4 3600 RAM for about 100 euro's? still CL16?

I'm mainly going to use the SSD. HDD will just be the big storage boy

no, stick with the stock cooler. give it a try. if you are not satisfied with the noise it makes or the temperatures, get a better cooler later. but know that a better cooler will be at least 40 euro, otherwise it will be a downgrade.

cheapest 3600 c16:

G.Skill Ripjaws V 16 GB

probably not worth it, it's 27 euros more.

It probably would do. But, you can go without it and order a Snowman from AliExpress (will take weeks to arrive, but during the time you can use the PC with the stock Wraith), it's cheaper and cools better.

I am not familiar with RAM prices in the NL. Going with a 550W PSU would probably allow for faster RAM.

this is the cheapest i'd get that's actually a real improvement over the stock cooler. as I said, I'd rec recommend you to use the stock cooler for a while. you might find out it's enough for you.

Thanks! I'll stick with the stock for now.

RAM is almost double the price so I'm going for the 3200Mhz cl16.

if they eventually drop in price, maybe in a year or so, I'll swap them.

Wouldn't really recommend the aftermarket cooler unless it is $15-20 as it doesn't justify the increase in performance. Why pay $50-60 for 1-2 fps gains?

The snowman cooler from AliExpress does a pretty fine job coming at around $15-20.

i'd wait and use the system for a while to see if you actually need to replace the cooler. I have a 2600x (draws more power than 3600) with stock cooler and I'm happy with it.
