$600 Gaming PC Build

Go to solution Solved by Scionyde,

GT 630, sorry!  I watched this video on the two.

Another question for you guys, once I have made my decision how should I go about buying it?  It lists items from different places, should I just buy them each from said seller?  Or should I try to bundle them together under one seller?  (Amazon, Newegg)

Just buy from whatever's cheapest. Just keep in mind that some online retailers might charge you sales tax while others won't, so check everything out beforehand.

Hey guys!  I plan on building my first PC, sadly my budget it $600 (give or take a few).  The worst part is that is has to include a monitor and keyboard.  I am trying to skimp out on every edge to hit an ideal price-point.  I was hoping maybe some of you guys could help lead me in the right direction and and correct any mistakes I may have made.

Don't need the thermal paste, that come pre-applied to the Hyper 212 EVO. But other than that, things seem okay.

"M. Aronnax." replied the Canadian, "your arguments are rotten at the foundation. You speak in the future, 'We shall be there! we shall be here!' I speak in the present, 'We are here, and we must profit by it.'"

You'd probably get better performance with a discrete GPU. Also, just keep in mind that case doesn't have any front panel usb 3.0. Not a huge deal, but I think there are options at that price for something that has them.

EDIT: Yeah, I'd agree with the build @Deddie posted, mostly.

Thanks for the advice and help!  Yeah, I found out the thermal paste was not needed after talking to a buddy of mine.  Will the dedicated GPU build be as powerful as the APU?  I know that it is as powerful as an i3 (3220 I believe) with a GT 640.

The Dedicated GPU build will be more powerful than the APU-build.

I could be wrong, but I was under the impression that the Kaveri iGPU was somewhere around a 7750/7770.

Happy building! Just to check one last thing - you didn't need an operating system factored into that budget, did you?
