UK - First Build, £1200 Budget. Help Required, my mind is melting!

Hi Forum,

Looking to build my first gaming PC, so ive been binge researching but now my mind is starting to melt the further i get down the rabbit hole and im not sure which way is up anymore...

I live in the UK, so ive found that my component prices are significantly higher than any of the $$ guides so it makes it tricky to gauge.

My Budget is £1000 - £1200, and im looking to get the best bang for my buck.

Below are a couple things that i have thrown together so far from the various bits of research that i have done.

Any advice on if the below works well together, what to change or improve on etc etc would be greatly appreciated! I have chosen some components as best bang for the buck at the moment, and some that allow room for future upgrades to give it a little longevity.

I originally looked at the RTX 2070 Super, but found it was £150 more than the RX 5700XT and not sure if it is a justifiable improvement for the price tag?

In terms of peripherals, i dont have any at the moment. So i will buy these around whatever spec PC I can get to, so this is not a limiting factor.

I also realise this question has been asked time and time again, so if there are any links to builds people recommend (UK Specific) then please link these too.

Thank you Community,

No need for an expensive X570 motherboard.

You could swap out the R7 3700X for an R5 3600 and get a 2080 Super, but the 5700XT is good for 1080p/1440p. Easier to change the gpu later on so maybe stick with the 8 core 3700X. I think AMD are still doing the free games promotion. Link below gives you the info.
