Will Fractal XL R2 Fit a Kraken x62?

aune

The top of the case supports 280mm in lenght, but i am worried that the x62 is to thick and will crash with the motherboard. Correct me if im wrong but is it really

52.9mm thick with radiator and fans?

Yes it is. 25mm thick fans, 27mm thick rad.

The website says a 280mm rad will fit with a slim rad, and a 27mm rad is considered slim. So It should fit.

Unfortunately it did not fit. The CD player makes it unable to fit, and it is mounted to the case

Can you move the player to a lower slot or does it hit the 5,25" bay supporters?

Let me correct myself it is not the ODD, that i have removed. It is this black useless box which is mounted into the case with some screws whom i cant remove.

Are those pop rivets? You could maybe drill those out and reinstall using them if needed.

Well, i got it inside the case somehow, but it crashed with my motherboard, which is a p9x79ws. Dont know if this is the scenario with newer mobos. Was looking at the z390f and it looks alot bigger in the same area whereit crashes with at my board
