My current chair, a knockoff of that "manager's chair" that I got several years ago. The probem, it is starting to sway to the left. So I'm sitting at a 15* angle.

I want to get a chair before this one falls apart. (same thing happened to my last chair)

But, I am not sure what to get. I've looked online, and I hate those "gaming chairs". They just look ugly to me. I don't need the big backing of it. I'm only 5'4".

I was looking at this one: https://www.newegg.com/alera-chairs/p/N82E16848999540?Item=9SIA86E4MS2642

Being it is 60% off. Has good reviews, too.

Anyone else have any suggestions? Want to keep it around 100...

(dunno this is the right section, whatever)

What I do

obviously I can’t tell you much about gamers chairs.  Only thing that might be useful is avoid “bonded leather” it’s not leather.  It’s vinyl with leather scraps and dust in it.  It’s actually worse than vinyl even though it costs more because it’s “leather”.  “Bonded leather” is a scam.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

IKEA'S Markus chair is a good shout, think it's worth for $200.

Not sure about anything towards $100 though, think IKEA has some around that range but haven't looked too much into it

I've got a staples hyken that works well.  The headrest is a bit low, but you really don't need it.

All office chairs seem to do this... I bet if you turn it over, the mount that the gas lift goes into will have split along one side. It's happened to so may chairs that I've bought over the years... I used to be a very big guy... and so I decided to buy a chair for people far, far heavier than I... I got one designed for people 450lbs or so... I was around 300... and I've lost a lot of weight since then.

But you know what happened after a couple of years.... damn thing split in the same place every other chair did... Because they reinforced the chair everywhere but that point.

So I bought a new part and replaced it... it's been a couple of years since I did that and I'm starting to feel a slight lean tot he side again... just a degree or two.

45 minutes is my commute to work! people all over the world do that twice a day in a car. (And it’s killing the planet).
