Question

I recently got my 5700xt working on my PC but it will only push 60 fps on the Witcher 3 even with the factory overclock selected I have only used the drivers that came with the card on the disk because when I tried to update it to the newest it instantly would not work. Is the older drivers the reason for the lack in performance or is it something else j haven't done? Any advice is cherished!!

Through the amd control panel

I believe its the software right before the adrenaline, the designation is 19.9.1. adrenaline is the one that messed up when it installed

It should have installed fine, maybe you haven't clean installed windows in a while?

 

You could try using DDU to uninstall your drivers first before reinstalling the newest version, but if adrenalin doesn't even work then i don't see reinstalling drivers fixing anything.

Do you have vsync on and or frames capped?  What processor?  What monitor?

I have a ryzen 5 2600 and I don't have vsync but I'm running the same settings I had on my rx580 which ran in the hundreds.

Then you need to do as @Enderman said and use DDU (free download) and then reinstall your drivers (if you didn't do that the first time this is likely the issue, when you put in the new card)
