Rx 570 or 580

IronaSonaLe
Go to solution Solved by Princess Luna,

I'd go with the cheaper RX570 since you only got a R3 1200 any ways and the PSU is meh.

Performance should be indeed really close either ways while being very competent at 1080p

So i need help on deciding on what GPU to get RX 570 or RX 580 the price differrents is  £30 its not alot but still. Whats the differnece between those two cards i was told that there is non???

Spec

Evga 500 80 bronze certified ATX

ASRock b450m pro4 f

Viper patriot 2x4 GB

Ryzen 3 1200

true. its close. but since you are at 1200, 580 isnt doing much

guess the 580 isn't worth it with at 1200. But I guess you can find a 580 used for cheaper than a new 570. Maybe do that and eventually "unlock" the 580 full potential with a CPU upgrade down the line.

Also genreal recommendation: That PSU is meh.. ok for what youre doing now, but when going 580... upgrade the PSU before you then get a better CPU

Doesn't matter for 1920x1080p... both the 4gb and 8gb should be about the same.

I'd recommend a RX 570, it a very capable 1080 card...If I recall correctly, there is about a 10% difference in performance between the two. I overclocked a 4gb 570 and it was within 5-10% of a stock 580. I'd get the 8 gb version if its only a few dollars difference, but it's not a must have.
