Memtest error

Im waiting on a new kit to arrive but i have a corsair 3200 16 18 18 18.

 

My problem is even with xmp turned off or on i get a bench of error. So is this a bad ram problem, bios or something else ?...

Ram slot 2 and 4

Move the sticks from slots 2 and 4  to slots 1 and 3

If you still get errors it's the sticks

 

Pull the sticks, blow some air in the slots, maybe use a fine toothbrush to brush all the contacts inside the slots just in case it's a bad contact. 2 slots would indicate it's not a physical slot problem.

 

Repeat the test with memory set at 3000 Mhz or 2666 Mhz ... if you no longer get errors, it's probably borderline ram chips on the stick, maybe you need to up the voltage a bit to get them stable at 3200 ... but I would return the sticks.

Tried all of that keeps giving bench of error on memtest but none in windows i guess its going back.

Yeah i tried each stick 1 of the 2 is giving the error.

it should not give any errors.
